Its excellence be the cost maintenance cheap ( only include station of cell is not like at cable network including overall of cable), the infrastructure small dimension, the development is quickly, easy to be developed ( for example with concept mikrosel and technique frequency reuse), easy & cheap for relocation and supports portabelity.

Its(the weakness is expense of expensive equipments ( this weakness can be eliminated by developing and produces electronics component technology causing can depress expense of network), delay which is big, existence of problem propagasi radio as blocked, bounded and many source of interferences ( this weakness can be overcome with modulation technique, antenna; technique diversity, technique spread spectrum and others), network capacity faces limitation spectrum ( frequency band cannot be widened but can be exploited efficiently with help of all kinds of technique in like spread spectrum / DS-CDMA) and security of data (secrecy) less well guaranted ( this weakness can be overcome for example with technique spread spectrum) 

Unique from transmission media wireless is :

  • Its(the signal is by snatches ( intermittence) which caused by existence of object between consignors and acceptor so that signal blocked and do not at acceptor ( this symptom hardly felt at communications wireless with IR).

  •  Haves the character of broadcast as result of its(the radiation pattern shining to all directions, so that all terminals can receive signal from consignor.
